Building a Better Measure of School Quality

Are you fed up with using the outmoded MCAS as the measure of success? It’s time to revitalize and reimagine the way we measure school quality.

The Beyond Test Scores Project seeks to assist districts and schools to build fairer and more accurate, comprehensive measures of school quality and student learning. School and community members drive the process of selecting these measures. Come to this workshop to learn about better ways to measure what schools actually do and what communities want their schools to do.

Participants will learn about creating school quality measures frameworks and how to use them.
